This is one of my favorite pieces because it helped me to stretch my palette zone. The recipient’s mom sent me pictures of some paint-by-number art that she made of old American Wild West scenes. What a treat! Picking colors from her paintings!
How did I pick the colors if this isn’t my typical color palette? On the first few squares, I literally took a visual horizontal and vertical sampling of adjacent colors to pick the placement.
