The recipient chose yellow instead of purple which really brightened up the palette.
The second color round – This motif pattern is the Summer Garden Granny Square by Lucy from Attic24. I adapted the pattern slightly by making the “squaring off” round into the second color round instead of the joining round as in the pattern.

Wide 15″ border – I always do about the middle 50% of the total desired width as the center granny squares and then the other 25% on each side as the border.
