Textured Circles Blanket – Third version made for a sweet lady in Alabama!
Find my free pattern here, or look at this blanket to order a custom, handmade piece.
When I started on this blanket, I couldn’t help but set up an evolution shot. This is one of my favorite blankets to make – you can use any colors and the effect is gorgeous. I use the yarn doubled and a size 10mm hook. Finished size with 16 motifs is 68-70″ square! It’s big and warm.
A stack of motifs in progress – lush color!
Close-up of the join. Tutorial coming soon! For now, searching “Flat Braid Join Crochet” will help oodles.
And another final shot.
Very nice. I will have to keep an eye out for the pattern in the future (finish my current blanket first!). Very nice.
Loved it!! how many colours did you use?
I used partial skeins and remnants! No two squares are alike – not sure how many colors! 🙂
