I really, really love this pattern, will post the pattern or where we can find it please.
Where is the pattern fro this throw??????????????????????????
Hi, there! This is just an old Leisure Arts pattern that I have memorized. I can’t think of the name of the original pattern blanket, unfortunately. Sorry I can’t be of much help!
Leisure Arts – Is this a magazine?
It’s a huge company – Google – they publish tons of different books in a variety of subjects.
Do you remember what year you might of seen this pattern? I looked at there site and it would take forever to find it or if you can get us start with it, that might help. It looks to me that I am not the only one that would like the pattern.
The recipient of this piece actually mailed me the yarn and a photocopy of the pattern from the book.. I could only tell it was Leisure Arts because of the font and setup of the pattern. Unfortunately, once I had the pattern memorized, I threw the paper away! So I don’t remember the name of it. I feel bad that I can’t help! Hopefully someone out there recognizes it?
This is a called a Basketweave Pattern, you can google it to find the pattern.
I got an answer from Leisure Arts, and found out it is a Basketweave Pattern. The border is that your design? I know I am a pest but I love this pattern.
Don’t worry! Yes it is just something I do when I want a simple edging – not too “frilly” with good structure.
1 round DC with (2DC, Ch-2, 2DC) in the corners
1 round (DC, Ch-1, Sk-1) repeated around with the same (2DC, Ch-2, 2DC) corner
1 round plain SC with 3SC in each corner
Finally go down a hook size and work 1 round Reverse SC without working any extra sts in corners for a nice rounded corner
That’s it! Hope you enjoy it! Happy holidays! 🙂
