Lush Geometric Lace headed to Ohio 🙂
Check out the pattern for sale on Ravelry and Etsy, or look into buying this blanket as a custom, handmade piece.
I really enjoyed working in the pastel palette for this one. I arranged pink and purple to reach for each other in opposing corners and then sprinkled blue and yellow in the other two corners. That is part of how I design my blanket. I pick the two main blending colors, and oppose them, blending them across the diagonal. Then I put two minor colors in the other corners with maybe a few sprinkled in the diagonal.

On this blanket, I really put a lot of thought into the lace, and I did a complete lace construction make-over. I’ll be sending a pattern update to everyone who has already purchased the pattern!

The layout is really visible in the picture below. You can see how I blended pink and purple across the diagonal, and I even chose the “pinkish” purples to be closer to the pink side. Likewise with the “purplish” pinks. Yellow and blue are in the other corners, faded a bit down the sides. I love that light aqua, so I couldn’t leave it out! It makes a small appearance in the center between blue and yellow.

The pink lace is too much for me to take! When the recipient asked for it, I just couldn’t wait to do it and I just love the result.
And done! I truly loved it. Look for your pattern update soon.
I think this is one of my favorite color combos so far!
Mine too! I’m drooling over the pink lace – definitely put it in my shop already!
I love this so much I can’t even handle it! It reminds me of all things girly and My Little Pony 🙂
Ha that’s great! Thanks for sharing – you made my afternoon! 🙂
