Gumball 10

Gumball blankets for twins baby girls – just in time for Easter; made for a local buyer.

Check out the pattern for sale on Ravelry and Etsy, or look into buying this blanket as a custom, handmade item.

I chose my color palette based on a slight modification of my original design which included top stitching. I later decided to leave it off, and only ended up using the three lighter colors. Love this combo though!

Ended up making a “motif garland” after my scissors fell in the space between the console and my seat on the way home from the zoo. No tragedy was about to stop production!

Been busy lately with Gumball blankets! Here are some motifs that I cranked out one afternoon. I had been working on a large blanket and needed some motif action to break it up. Worked like a charm!

First blanket – pink and yellow – all done!

And fin! This photo shows how they looked with the top stitching… It was a bit stiff, so I nixed it…

And a shot of all three blankets together – the pink and purple one is for the big sis! πŸ™‚
