My eighth Gumball, made for a cute brother/sister pair in Australia! Read more about brother’s blanket is in this post!
Check out the pattern for sale on Ravelry and Etsy, or look into buying this blanket as a custom, handmade item.
I started these pretties in colors that I pulled from sample photos of the girl’s(very cute!) bedroom. Making the Gumball blanket in this thick style is very eye-pleasing. The chunky circles come out great with the star border.
It was Valentine’s Day when I worked on these, so of course I had to pose the circles!
Here I am trying to cram my entire blanket plus about half of the circles into my Sew, Ray, Me bag for transport to my eldest’s Taekwondo practice. I get so much done during that hour! But, I need a bigger bag – haha!
Joining in my new favorite spot – right in front of our tallest set of windows – using my favorite join, a variation of the Flat Braid Join. I have tutorial of join in the Gumball pattern. The early sun says Spring is soon to be sprung! I’m a huge fan of this color palette. The red, white, and blue sprinkled in is ace. Beautiful blanket.
